In the Hawaiian culture, ohana means family. Members of an ohana could be relatives by blood, non-relations who are accepted by the ohana, as well as members of the ohana who have died. It, also, includes the aumakua, the ancestral guardian spirit of the family.
…if i want to keep on skateboarding, i will need to remove the frontside boardslide from my repertoire of skateboard maneuvers. this fucking sucks because it is a favourite of mine to do. not only can you tweak it out by contorting your body into ‘frontside’ position thus styling the fuck out of it, it FEELS so hella good (yogis rejoice!). bummer.
apparently my knee has not completely healed, even though i’ve been able to play hockey on it just fine and bike for miles n miles n stuff, it ain’t 100%. it’s either that or i need to skate more and get my body back into skateboard shape (that means skateboarding with all this extra fat that i’ve accumulated).
i’m really hatin’ on the new iphone 4 commercials. i think they are stupid and annoying. you can’t stick your penis in it and make oofing with your girlfriend over the fucking thing. shame on you apple for not getting right. again.
in the meantime, i will slave away to save up for a new macbook pro.
…i am telling myself that when i am done with school and then working my ass off, i will visit hawaii (and all of my beautiful family and friends and foods and everything else!) every 6 months, and you are more than welcome to come with….
so, i got a bike from a friend of mine this past friday (07/30), a wicked cool bmx, and i have ridden that beautiful motherfucking thing everyday since. i am totes-me-goats on it! super stoked! i can’t believe i haven’t gotten a bike sooner. it is so fucking freeing and fun, i feel like a kid again! i mean, i don’t care if i sound like such a cheese ball or whatever, but DAMN! shit’s hella tight, yo.
